Convert your car to burn water as fuel

A couple of questions come to minda on this topic. Is it real (as in could it work)? Isn’t water more expensive per gallon than gas anyway?

Try the thing up top that says “Search”.

And, in the search field, enter the word “scam”. That should give you all of the threads (more than a dozen, I’m sure) that discuss this ridiculous notion.

It’s a scam. This scam has been heavily advertised lately and we’ve done numerous threads.

Lets hope water is cheaper than gasoline in equal units. How can you burn water when it is already ‘burnt’. Try holding match to a stream of water – don’t hold it too close or the match will get doused. Ever wonder why the fire departments uses water to fight fires? Now, water cannot be used to extinguish an oil field fire – maybe they should be using gasoline!

Isn’t water more expensive per gallon than gas anyway?

Bottled water is more expensive then gas…But why would you use bottled water. Tap water is LOT cheaper then gas.

especially if you’re using well water instead of city water

That’s nothing! ACT NOW, and I’ll convert your car to run on…WISHFUL THINKING!

Now, I know you’re wondering, “Wouldn’t I be taking a big risk, what with unproven technology and all?” Not to worry! Politicians have been running the country on wishful thinking for DECADES now! Let it work for you, too!

Sorry, OP, but this won’t work. At best, it could function as a battery of sorts, putting energy in to liberate hydrogen, which could then be burnt at a later time. But it isn’t a SOURCE of energy.

I did it and saved 60% on gas, then I used pulstar plugs to save another 30%, then I used the turbonator to save another 40%. Then I drove 2 miles and my tank overflowed!!

i thought the politicians have been using bull excrement. learn somethin new everyday

Well, honestly, the adds I’ve seen go like this: They sell you a jar w/ electrodes, you put water in the jar, the jar is hooked up to the power in your car, the water is changed into hydrogen and oxygen, the hydrogen is pumped into the engine, your fuel economy increases! Does it work?

What do you think of the “water for fuel” advertisements that are popping up? They sell you a jar w/ electrodes, you put water in the jar, the jar is hooked up to the power in your car, the water is changed into hydrogen and oxygen, the hydrogen is pumped into the engine, your fuel economy increases! Does it work?

I think the OP is a spammer. This is his one and only post.
