Clutch on automatic covered under Powertrain?

I actually got rid of it shortly after.

Why do the dealers initially deny coverage? They’re just asking the owner to buy another brand next time, and from a different dealer. We had the transmission replaced on our Silhouette at 59,000 miles on a 60,000 warranty. The Olds dealer was apologetic about having to deny coverage due to miles, but my wife reminded them of the 60/60 warranty. They immediately changed their tune and gladly went to bat for us. Two weeks later we had a brand new transmission installed. That was the third vehicle we bought from them and I’d buy another from them. Customer service generates auto sales.

Not a mechanic, but from what I’ve seen others post the reimbursement rates are lower and sometimes the paperwork to get reimbursed is ridiculous
