Hello all…Wanted to ask a question before I bring my car to a mechanic. A few days ago I started to hear a clicking sound in my steering wheel. It generally happens when I have to turn the wheel a few times. Just as some background about 3 years ago I had a whooshing sound and the shop said my power steering rack had a small crack in it. Since it would just end up causing me to end up having rack and pinion steering I was fine with that and did not get it fixed and have not had any problems until this week. Any thoughts on the clicking and how much to fix it? By the way it is a Saturn L100 2002.

IF the clicking sound IS coming from the steering wheel, a faulty clockspring may be the cause.
