SRS reports a bunch of codes, including driver and passenger airbag inflators, driver seatbelt tensioner, and - apparently - the SRS diagnostic module itself. Mechanic says SRS needs to be replaced at $525 before we can know whether the airbag inflator and seatbelt tensioner problems are real. Is this true?
