If we are changing front coil springs on the '93 Honda Accord LX Station Wagon (one coil was broken), should we go ahead and change the struts as well, though they seem fine? We are doing the work ourselves.
Change the struts while you have it apart. Considering the year of the car it probably needs them replaced.
Another thing to consider… if you don’t install them properly you will damage the strut when removing and installing the jamb nut. The top of the strut has a spot for a allen head to prevent the strut from turning when you remove and install the jamb nut.
