Car Talk’s advertisers think I’m missing teeth!

I doubt if I could get my eyes to look up

Swap in me for Homer while reading these replies, and then I laughed.

Seems she’s selling a search product—she must have some very sharp distance vision to find cars for you all out on the horizon.

Reminds me of when the mail-order brides ads were showing up for a few of you. I’ll pass this on to my superiors, just so they know. Thanks for the laugh.

Heh heh, I like that ad for the muscle bound guy that then sheds his fake muscles to reveal a 90 pound weakling. So much for good ads. I don’t even know what the product is but I’d like to get one of those muscle suits.

As an update, the ad geniuses at Car Talk Digital HQ are checking the filter settings. Thank you for helping us to retain our PG rating over here.

Now THAT’S a new one… Never seen one of those ads. Email maybe… but the spam filter gets 'em.

They were something. For a minute I was awaiting screenshots from users and then lo and behold I was getting them. Russian women. Talk about poorly targeted advertising.

I would not be too sure about that

I’m not sure if it is due to my browser, or my ad-blocker, or… whatever… but I missed all of the excitement.

Do you know something I don’t? :flushed:

@Barkydog also has a filter problem, it appears.

No filter problem, just saying can’t rule out someone might be looking for a Russian bride. Getting a lot of car ads, bought a car yesterday, oh well.

I thought you meant me.

Thinking gets me into trouble every time… You have no car a deal breaker (just kidding but trying to keep a car related something  )

I already spent too much money on the watches.com website, I couldn’t afford a mail order bride.

Russian brides probably came up after asking questions about a ZIL or Lada being a good buy.
