My 1997 Mitsubishi Galant Es
(4 cylinder,2.4 engine; 165,936 miles;tune-up 2 months ago)“chokes” when the weather is warm/hot, but runs Ok when weather is cold! I live in SA, home of the Spurs. Please give me some ideas as to what may be causing this. Thank you.
Tell folks what the “tune up” included as well as any & all other recent maintenance. What someone includes in a “tune up” can vary.
Since I don’t know much about cars, I don’t exactly know what “they” did. Except that they told me they replaced the spark plugs and ignition wires, etc.

So sorry for the delay, I’ve been “out of pocket”. Please forgive my ignorance, but what is the ECU? As you can probably tell, I’m still having problems. I seem to think that too much gas is going through, and maybe that’s why it “chokes”. Also,
I just noticed that I’ve been putting more gas lately for the same trips around town. Please give me some ideas. Thank you.
