'93 accord, very hard to pull out of park (and push into park). other gears are ok.
I tried my key in the key hole, to no affect.
Any ideas?
The problem might be with the interlock control solenoid. This solenoid allows the shifting out of and into park as long as the brake pedal depressed. And this is thru the brake interlock switch. Because this solenoid is located below the shifter, junk and garbage can accumulated on/around this solenoid preventing it from working properly.
Anyway. That’s the first thing I’d check.
