I have a 2001 BMW 325i with 40k miles. The blinkers will go on intermittently when I am driving. sometimes it will do it for a couple of times and then stop other times it does it for 10 minutes and stop. Has anyone experienced these problems and found solutions to it. Thanks
Are they really flashing or is it just clicking? If they are flashing is it all four or just left or right side?
Yes I have seen this exact same problem on the exact same car. The problem in the car I fixed was wire chafing on the dash support structure. I was able to repair the harness through one of the A/C outlet fixtures. These type of problems are not so frequent that they should be considered common but most BMW techs know of them.
