The first thing I would do is lubricate them (check your manual for type of lubricant and places to apply it). That might help. If not, then some adjustment might be required, which probably means a trip the the mechanic or dealer.

If it is a late 90’s or early 2000’s GM take a pencil eraser and clean the brass contacts on the door and body post. This is also if the door almost closes and then reopens.
