You have a higher opinion of craigslist mechanics than I do.They are unlicensed, uninsured and lots of luck getting anything back if they screw up your car.

I am also not comfortable supporting someone who is working off the books and not paying taxes , but competing against those that do.

Maybe Yewtwteiy should read the posts by the person in Australia who used a mobile mechanic . That should make him use an actual shop.
