Researcher,
I will try doing the test and hope it will fix the problem.

Acura of Salem and Acura Customer Service both refused to address the defective transmission situation despite known issues and a partial recall. They stated that car was out of warranty as their justification. I sold my car in as is condition to local mechanic for half it’s value due to bad transmission, loosing $3500 in the process. I voted with my business and bought a '08 Infinity G35. No longer a loyal Honda/Acura customer.
04-06 actually. In 07 they replaced the transmission with the one from the RL, which has not had reliability issues.
I’ve 2002 Honday Odyssey with 112,000 miles and i had Transmission failure yesterday coming back from Christmas trip. Took the van to Honda dealer and they told me that i need new transmission. The cost is about $4,000 to $5,000. I will NEVER buy another HONDA again.
I should to have bought TOYOTA Van.
