My ABS light has been going on…infrequently. Mt dealer ran a scan of the system and says I need a new ABS module to the tune of about $570. Does this sound right?

I would only consider this repair if the Dealer guarantees his suggested $570 repair will cure the problem. But even then, I probably could live without ABS brakes and find another place to spend the $570…

What kind of car? Some models have frequent enough ABS module failures that businesses have stepped up and started rebuilding them for a reduced price.
