I have a 2005 Buick LeSabre and in February 2008 I took my car to the shop because the Light came on and stayed on. They said it was one of the rear Hub Assemblies, which they replaced. Now the light went on again and they said it was a faulty part on the original fix. They replaced it for labor only, however it still goes on and they are saying it is the ABS module for $900.00. I’m in the sunny south can’t I do without the ABS brakes, my old cars never had them on.
Yes, you can indeed…But I would try to extinguish that light before any mandated “safety inspection”…
I’d get another opinion regarding the need for a new ABS module.
