A recall for almost every Rivian vehicle

I think anyone using a measuring device for work would have them calibrated at least annually. That’s how my former employers always did it. Sometimes there was an in house calibration lab, sometimes not.

Yes, they would do the same. More likely they would have a test station that would allow it to be checked before every shift… but stuff still happens!

I was watching a tv show about the Eastern Airlines accident where it crashed into a Florida swamp on approach to the airport. Part of the problem was they needed a pair of pliers and a flashlight to fix a minor problem but they didn’t have either. Pilot got involved with the minor problem and forget he had to fly the plane as the first priority.
