This company–formerly known as SsangYong Motors–has never, to the best of my recollection, tried to market their vehicles in The US. I recall seeing a SsangYong SUV parked in London many years ago, and it was the first time that I had ever heard of that marque.

Most of their offerings were fairly well recieved in the UK market. Some are not considered the best looking.
My recollection of the SsangYong SUV that I saw in London many years ago was that it was not at all good-looking. I probably wouldn’t have noticed it, if not for its somewhat strange styling.

Looked up reviews of current models and they’ve built up a certain reputation as rugged and dependable but for much less than the competition. Certain models are in favor as cheap tow cars for the small travel trailer the UK calls a caravn.
