My selt belts in the front work intermittly. Sometimes they work fine but I’ll be driving along and hear a metallic “ping” or “tink” sounding noise that comes from the area where the seat belt retracts into the seat up by my ear. When I hear the noise the belt won’t pull out, then I can drive a bit and hear the noise again and the belt works fine. It doesn’t appear to be related to hitting bumps or anything else that I can figure. I hate not being able to use my belts. Not only is it not safe but I live in Florida and we now have a “click it or ticket law” so I can’t put the top down. Any help would be appreciated. bmf.( P.S. The car is red.)
