96 Trooper Driver's Window

I did the classic ‘try to roll down a frozen shut window’ this winter. It broke free from the regulator (electric windows). Question is this. How does the regulator attach to the glass? I think it has two bolts that are at teh ends of the top track that engage something on teh glass (I hope it’s not the glass itself, bacause I this that’s wha’t s broken free). Anybody know?

I’m willing to bet that you have a plastc part broken. You’ll need to remove the inner door panel to find out what’s actually wrong.

Fixed it this weekend.
Turns out that the glass is attached to the regulator by being glued to two clips (plastic) that are, in turn, screwed tot eh regulator. Glue bond broke to keep the glass from breaking or motor from burning up.
