Anyone got any ideas what would cause my car to die on me? One night it felt sluggish and hard a hard time get around, and then it just died. The battery is about a month old, and the alternator tests good. It still doesn’t really run! What would cause it to feel like it is losing power everytime i drive it??
How many miles on it? When was the last time it has had a new air and fuel filter? When was the last time it had new spark plugs and wires? How about oil changes?
Does it seem to have more problems when ??? maybe cold or damp, morning or evening?
You want to have the engine error codes read. Some places will read them for FREE. Try Autozone or Advanced Auto Parts. Get the exact code not just their translation into English and post it back here. It likely will have a format like P1234. Sometimes there are codes even if there is no Check Engine Light.
