Hi I have a 93ford Ranger and I just had the window repaired. The mechanic cleaned the connections on the switch and then it worked. but only for about a week. then it just stopped working.
Do I need a new switch? where would I get one? or should I just let the mechanic install it.
It could be the switch, but I have found something else on Fords. The grease that is used on the worm gear in the motor hadens and the window will not work. Take the motor apart and clean it up a little. The switch can be bought at the dealer.
