I have a '92 toyota camry that we just purchased and put a new engine in… now it’s stalling when you come to a stop and are taking your foot off the accelerator. we’ve tried a fuel injector, a fuel clean, fixed vacuum leaks, and replaced the fuel filter, and fuel preside regulator… it’s still doing it and is getting worse. can anyone help??
The next time you come to a stop, use your left foot on the brake pedal and at the same time slightly tip into the accelerator with your right foot. If doing this prevents the engine from stalling the problem most likely is a dirty/defective Idle Air Control valve.
