Just read the earlier comment and I experienced same issue - parked my car in a mild weather day for about 5 hours and found a 9" horizontal crack around 6" from top. A new car only driven ~ 6000 mile.
It’s tempered glass.
It takes nothing for tempered glass to crack or break.

First take it to the Hyundai dealer and see if they will replace it under warranty. If not, then see if you can get your auto insurer to replace it on your policy. Mrs JT drove to an outlet mall about 50 miles from us with a friend. She wanted to show off our less than one week old van. Something kicked up off the road and broke the windshield. Our car policy covered it.
