2023 Santa Fe Car makes a squeeking noise when driving. Dealer replaced struts, mounts and sway bar
OK, are you just letting us know what fixed your noise complaint, or are you asking our advise or why did you post that statement??? Is it still making noise??? Are you asking a question??
That’s quite an expense to the dealer to replace all that stuff. Good for the dealership for going to great lengths to help their customers anyway. Sorry the squeak is so stubborn. hmmm … I guess they could keep replacing stuff until it goes away. OP however should consider that when something is replaced in a new car at a dealership shop, the end-result may not be as good as it was coming from the manufacturer. The manufacturer has a big stock of oem-parts & add’l installation, test, & ass’y equipment the dealership may not have.
Squeaking noise common causes
- springs and their mounting points
- suspension system bushings
A couple of ideas, first there’s a test instrument called “chassis ears”, used to narrow down the location of a sound, can be used when driving the car. Ask shop to give that a try. Second, ask shop if there’s a temporary lube product they can place on the suspects to see if the squeak goes away. Once the problem part is discovered, then the can replace just that part.
Back to the dealer, then. You have a warranty so take advantage of it until they get it right. Make sure to keep all documentation.
I think OP is a one and done, never to be seen again… lol
