2021 Ford Escape - Won't stay running

Start Escape, shuts off, tried multiple times

Is it still under the power train warranty? What does dealership say?
BTW, this forum does NOT restrict you to 140 characters so yes, you can provide much more details.

I would almost bet it is either fuel related, ignition related or some sort of electrical, including sensor related… with a possible engine related issue…

With more info, we might be able to help you out a little more…

Do you have gas in it??

Sorry you are having that frustrating problem OP.

The problem might be with the fuel pump driver module.

These are notorious for causing the problem you’re having with your Ford vehicle.

As Tester pointed out the potential problem. there is a recall for it.

Microsoft Word - 21S38 - Advance Notice.docx

There also is a bunch of other recalls for your vehicle. so the dealer can take care of all of them for you.

As a follow on, contact a dealer, give them your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), and ask what recalls have not been addressed. You can go to any dealer to get the recall work done, it doesn’t have to be the one you call. If it takes too long to get your car into the shop, call other dealers and ask how long it will take to get those recalls addressed.

Do you notice the “security” light flashing or staying on? This sounds like the anti-theft security system locking out. If the appropriate chip isn’t detected, it will let you start the engine, but then quickly shut off the fuel pump and/or ignition.
