I have a crack in my windshield that starts at the bottom of the glass. It was not hit with a rock or any other object. It looks like a compression crack. Has anyone else come across this issue?
Of course people have had windshield problems on almost every brand of vehicle Why do you think Safelite glass is a nationwide company and that is not covered by the vehicle warranty but is by your full coverage insurance.

Don’t worry about my windsheild, just get yours fixed.
Call your insurance company, tell them your glass cracked and ask about your coverage for that. Likely they will pay for all or nearly all of the repair.

Automotive glass cracking or shattering for no apparent reason is a common occurance.
