car stalled at red light
Your one year old car is currently covered by multiple warranties, and will be covered by the Powertrain Warranty for several more years. Any engine problem (with the exception of problems caused by abuse or neglect) will be covered in full by the Powertrain Warranty.
So, you should make an appointment with a Nissan dealership, and have them diagnose and repair the problem. If somebody here provides a diagnosis and you then tell the Nissan folks to replace “X”, if that repair fails, YOU will have to pay the full cost of the repair. Instead, allow them to diagnose and repair the problem, and it will cost you… nothing.
And, I strongly suggest that you open the glove box, take out the booklet containing the details of Nissan’s warranties, and read those details. Educating yourself about your car can pay great benefits in the long run.
There is a recall on some 2019 Altima’s for this issue, check with your dealer.
Just one more reason for the OP to take her car–with multiple warranties–to the dealership.
Based on quite a few posts over the years, I have to wonder if some people are not even aware that their new or “new-ish” vehicles carry multiple warranties for several years.
