2019 Honda HR-V - Apple CarPlay does not work

Apple carplay does not work. Have taken it to dealer multiple times and the same issue cannot be fixed.

Tell us more. Has the dealer been able to connect it to ANY phone? Or is the problem with yours alone? Some things we have found helped others:

  • Be sure your trim has the system and it was factory installed. Sometimes, automakers send cars out that need a later update of the system to operate.
  • These systems in that generation vehicle require a proper cable
  • Not every USB is capable of transmitting the signal. Be sure it is the correct USB in the car for connectivity
  • If you are trying just one phone, start with another. Slowly follow the instructions on screen. Be sure to hit “Continue” when promted if you are.
  • Does Android Auto work?
