2017 Hyundai Sonata - trunk will not activate when pressing button inside car; will not open when pressing on the exterior at the trunk NOR will it respond to the key to unlock.
Check your owners manual to see if the valet button is on that would prevent the trunk being opened by a casual driver. I actually spent about an hour trouble shooting my Olds before I found the valet button and turned it off.

Have you checked for a blown fuse?

Thank you for your response. My husband and I were notified it was covered under warranty. Thank the Lord.
Now would be a good time to read your owners manual so you will have a better idea of what is covered and for how long. I also suspect that you have not read the service schedule either. Note that the fluid changes are in miles and months which ever comes first.
