Back door (“trunk”) doesn’t open, whether I press the dashboard icon or stand directly behind the car and press icon on my key. How can I open the door?

Do you hear anything moving when you press the button? Does it make any difference if you push down on the trunk lid when you press the button?
Check the back door cancel switch in the glove box.
