Went on vacation for about 4 days and when returned the key fob would not work. Called on-star and they could not communicate with the car. Towed to dealer and they could not find a problem with the BCM but told by GM to reboot and re-install the programs.
So after your dealer rebooted it did it work? Please do not leave us in suspense!

Yes after reboot it worked and no the battery was not dead. Always a concern when no one can explain what caused.
A lot to be said for the old key method of starting a car . Computers got to love em .
