I have a failed Transfercase at 42000 miles
Sounds like a common problem, may be under warranty, take it to a Porsche dealer…
You can’t drive it with a failed transfer case, and if you are worried about the cost, well I’d advise not buying a Porsche…

Can anyone here provide a brief summary of the common xfer case failure modes in this model? Is the xfer case a gear/chain config, or fluid coupling?
