The dvd screen for the back seat passengers went out. Exhaustive internet research reveals that a ribbon cable to the screen goes bad due to the constant strain of going up and down. On a sad note, however, the internet has not been so kind as to show how the upper console is removed so I can access the screen. So, who has pulled down the console, replaced the ribbon cable, and successfully reinstalled the upper console? My dealer wants $1200 to “replace” the dvd viewer. After paying $120 for a diagnosis, they never would tell me how to access the screen. Thanks for your help.
