Our reverse camera/screen works about half the time. The other half of the time it is upside down or blips like an old TV with bad reception or something. Is there a way to troubleshoot this to identify the source of this malfunction and repair it (inexpensively)?
I don’t know about “inexpensively” but there are things you can try. Backup cameras are often (but not always) interchangeable. Connect a different camera (if possible) and see if the problem goes away. If it does, you’ve solved the problem. If not, you either have a wiring issue or a problem on the receiving end.
