anti-freeze leaking after cooling off or over night
Where is it leaking? Could be as simple as replacing the cap. However, highly unusual, usually leaks are present when system is pressurized.
I am not sure if this is a question, or you are venting.
But it is possible your engine is running a little hot and leaking out your overflow reservoir. Or from the weep hole on your water pump or a few other reasons. when you get home most people just get out of their vehicle and go in the house without looking back. the next morning walking to the vehicle you then notice it on the ground. You need to correct the leak, or you will create damage to your engine.
That’s my guess. Similar symptom on my Corolla, no dripping of any kind when engine running, or after engine stopped. But a little coolant puddle on floor next morning. Corolla incontinent, but where was the leak? No matter what I did, crawling under the car, etc, couldn’t ever spot exactly where leak was coming from, other than it was definitely at the front of the engine, and water pump in that area. Frustrated, plum decided to up and replace the water pump on a flyer. 200 k miles on original pump, probably needed replacement anyway, so no harm done. Upon removing the stuff in the way, was finally able to spot the leak coming from the pump.
Replacement water pump solved the leak entirely.
