In the winter, my back hatch doesn’t open all the way, presumably because whatever hydraulic fluid Nissan uses thickens up in the cold. The result is I bang my head against the hatch, expecting it to be open more. What should I do?
The lift gate supports are weak, replace them. This is noticed more often in cold weather, the pressure in the supports is lower when cold.
