A couple of possibilities. First, the wiring to the speakers might be loose where it connects to the radio. That’s the cheap option. Second, there might be something wrong inside the radio itself. If you’re handy you can probably check the wiring connection yourself. Otherwise, take it to a place that specializes in car audio.
Just to add to @davepsinbox_157004 , it also matters if it is the JBL system as those have a separate amplifier which could also create problems.
