2013 Nissan Juke - Lights gone crazy

Passenger side brake lite out replaced bulb, brake switch. Turn signel work, emergency flashers work, running lites work

I am guessing you are asking why it is still out after changing bulb.
Check the wires going to the bulb connector for cuts, chaffing or burnt area.
also look inside the connector to see if connection pins are bent, burnt or corrosion.
side note… you should use gloves when installing new bulbs. the oils from your fingers can cause premature bulb failure. especially halogen and led bulbs.

The symptoms seems consistent with either a corroded bulb socket, or a light fixture grounding problem. If the place you plug the bulb in looks in good shape, look around in the area surrounding that fixture. Do you see a wire connected directly to the body of the car, maybe under the trunk-area carpet? If so, remove the screw, clean the area with a wire brush so it is nice and shiny looking metal, then reattach. Let us know if that helps. (Whenever working on the electrical system, it is a good idea to disconnect the battery first. However, that could result in other problems you’ll encounter after reconnecting the battery. One of the problems w/ modernity … )

Good idea to look in your owner’s manual for a description of the fuses too. Usually brake light circuits are protected by just one fuse, but there could conceivably be a fuse for each side.
