Ten years at least and the cost would probably around $3000 or so plus installation. There are so many hybrids on the road now that there are firms who rebuild those batteries. That would cost a lot less.
The Toyota Prius has the most road experience and most that are used as taxis report 300,000 miles or more of trouble-free operation.
Toyota makes the most reliable hybrids.
