Hi everybody. Newb here. Looking for some advice. The map and dome lights don’t work in my 2012 Passat. The trunk light is out too. The red door lights do work, as do all the dash lights and the map lights come on when I start the car and then go out as they should but I can’t turn them on manually and the dome light doesn’t work at all. Nor does the trunk light. What could be cussing this? I checked the fuse, it was fine, and replaced it with a new one. No change. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. It’s super annoying.
Is there some function hidden in your owners manual that needs to be set or programmed? If it ever worked and then stopped, maybe something got turned off. Easy to do with long scroll-through menus.
