had a transmission but in my 2012 chevy impala. when I got it back from the mechanic shop, I drove it for a day an half and it shut off with me driving down the road. Now it won’t crank back up? Any suggestions what it might be?
Start with the battery terminals and the ground cable, IIRC, one of the battery cables grounds to a bell housing bolt, or more so a bolt with a stud on the head, with a group of other grounds, maybe even the ECM/TCM main grounds, close to the starter.. but don’t hold me to it… lol
You could also do a wiggle of the wiring harnesses over top of the trans while someone else is trying to start it…
When you try to start the car, does the starter engage and you hear the rrr rrr noise or is it dead silent or what do you hear???..
