I have a 2012 Chevy Impala LTZ I was driving yesterday and shut down on me. There’s no power to the windows stereo nothing and the key locked inside the ignition now the battery is dead
Please let us know what the diagnosis is. There are a myriad of possible causes.
Remove battery, then charge it, then have it tested. Then clean both ends of both battery cables, then reinstall and have charging system checked. Or have it towed to a shop.

Check if the fusible link between the alternator and starter has burned.
