Multi-pin connector, usually in the brake pedal area under the dash, might be semi-hidden by a protective cover.

Chances are you do have one.

in a 2011 model year vehicle?

Sure, OBD II began around 1996. Maybe this vehicle is not intended for the U.S. market and exempt from the OBD II requirement. I don’t know if that’s even a possibility.

I guess it could be (especially with the absolute wealth of knowledge we gained from the OP…)…but when I’m looking at Wikipedia if the car is from the US/Canada, Europe, Australia, and Japan it’ll definitely have OBD II (or EOBD in Europe, JOBD in Japan, and ADR 79/01 & 79/02 in Australia)…another Google search brought up this interesting tidbit:

“WWH-OBD stands for World Wide Harmonized On-Board Diagnostics. It is an international standard used for vehicle diagnostics, implemented by the United Nations as part of the Global Technical Regulations (GTR) mandate, which includes vehicle data monitoring such as emissions output and engine fault codes.”

My guess is that cars worldwide have OBD II
