2010 Dodge Charger Srt8 will crank but won’t start. Don’t hear humming of the fuel pump when I turn my key to on position. I just read to bang the fuel tank to see if that will get the pump going again for a short while. Where do I actually bang on fuel tank?
You already know your fuel pump doesn’t turn on. Next step is to find out if there is power and ground getting to the pump when it is supposed to. If there is, then you probably have a bad pump.

Get under the car and whack it on the bottom. It takes less than you think… IF the pump motor is the problem.
Then do what @tcmichnorth suggests. Look to the fuel pump relay, too. It is easy to reach and free to swap with another relay to see if that’s the problem.
