Door locks are set for ‘auto lock’ on and ‘auto unlock’ off. Frequently, I get a period of time where the doors will unlock when I turn off ignition. When locking car horn will beep several times -pause - single beep . Also, will beep twice when unlocking. Problem will persist for a period of time, then work correctly, only to reappear hours or days later. Different key fops, method of locking/unlocking do not matter - problem persists. How do I fix?
I do not know if this will work, but would cost nothing. Disconnect the battery for 15 minutes, then reconnect. This may reset the problem with your locks. You will loose your radio presets and the computer will need to relearn information from the sensors in your car. There should be information about the relearning procedure in your owners manual.
