Hello, I have a 2008 Jeep Liberty. The air cond stopped working and we found out the clutch was bad on the compressor. so we replaced the compressor. We went through all the right steps - put oil in the compressor, and the charged the air w/ free-on. But it only stayed charged for a couple hours after that. We checked for leaks and there aren’t any. Have any idea what the problem could be? When the air is on there is a short burst of air coming from under the hood that happens when the gas pedal is pushed

You have a leak. You just can’t find it.
Take it to a professional. Tell them what you did and what KIND of “free-on” you actually put in there so the tech doesn’t hurt himself or pollute his evac machine.
