2007 Toyota Highlander - Water on floor

When it rains, water gets into the floor under the driver side and under the passenger side. It smells bad and I’m hoping there is a solution. The dealership and Toyota customer care can’t help or provide a solution without a diagnostic charge!

if you have a sunroof there are drains (Plastic tubing)) that might need to be cleaned. also there are drains under the plastic windshield cowl that also might need to be cleaned. sometimes they also might crack or disconnect. if you have an air compressor you can use it to blow the lines out.

Do you work for free ? Well , those people at the dealer and other shops don’t either . You are out of warranty so find an independent shop or even a Collision Center ( used to be called body shops ) and see if they can solve this.

There is a solution, you will just have to pay someone to diagnose it.

Neither do medical doctors.

Thank you for the only useful information. It aligns with what I’ve found on other sites. :+1:t3:
