I have a 2007 saab 9-3 i am having ignition systems issues . i Have all ready rebuilt the Ism ignition box i have a new key but its not linked to the ecu , the old key works in the ism it goes as far as on but will not initate the start system help .
one code is the ecu is not connected other code is anti traction system , is out
How about you post the actual codes you are getting (P1234 or B3456) so we can try and help.
If the ECU is not connected it could be a damaged comm wire or the ECU could be bad. That would affect the traction control module as well since it needs the ECU communication to function properly.
