I was told my oil pump was leaking and could effect the timing belt which I just had changed, anyone else have this problem
If oil is getting on the timing belt? Or is the concern that what drives the oil pump also is involved with the timing belt? .
Why would that matter?
If the pump is leaking it should be fixed or, as you’ve been told, it could compromise the timing belt.
