Hello!
I have a 2006 Honda Odyssey with manual sliding doors. On one of the doors the rear latch fails to fully engage, so when I shut the door, it will lock in place temporarily, before popping open again seconds later. Fortunately the front latch is able to hold the door closed, but with the rear latch broken the sliding door looks like its not completely closed, sitting about a quarter of an inch outside the main body of the car.
I’ve tried spraying WD-40 in and around the rear latch, but found no success. The rear latch seems to close properly if I engage it with a screwdriver, but as soon as I actually shut the door, the aforementioned issues arise. Is there a fix for this?
