I have a Honda fit old shape and it will drive in reverse but soon as you put in drive it immediately shuts off don’t know wats wrong
Start the engine, and while it’s idling yank/wiggle the wires around the engine.
When in reverse, the engine twists in one direction.
When in drive, the engine twists in the opposite direction.
That could mean a wire is being moved causing the engine to stall.

If the above doesn’t pan out, first step is to figure out if the problem is among the two most likely, no fuel or no spark.
